Pino journal club from nngowen
Here are the slides from Journal Club by Dr. Pino. She discussed the pivotal AFFIRM data that has pushed most of the world into more rate control strategies for many patients. Here are links to the videos from Mimi's slides (which are at the end of the slides above):
Basic explanation of hypothesis testing with a t-test, along with good discussion of standard deviation from Khan Academy. It seems too easy at first, but he covers many key points to understanding these issues
T-Statistic Confidence Interval: This video is a review of confidence intervals for t-statistics: how they are created and what they mean. There were definitely a few things I didn't know in this video, including that a T-distribution has fatter tails than normal distribution.
Pearson's Chi Square Test (Goodness of Fit): This one also has good details if you are less than 100% confident on these goodness of fit chi square tests.
